Spent the afternoon with a friend in San Clemente and let me tell you my senses are on serious overload. Chocolate, antique shops, clothing boutiques, book stores and tea- all on one little street near the ocean.
She took me to a beautiful upstairs nooklike tea room called the Lavender Lounge where a curly haired man told us all about the teas they have. The entire back wall is lined with loose leaf teas to smell and purchase and we sipped such extravagance while sitting at a little bar in front of the window that overlooks Del Mar avenue.
I also had a lemon bar. Delicious.
It was the kind of place you have to look for in order to find, a little nook the size of a studio apartment. There is a sister location in Dana Point that I'd like to check out. Hint: The Long Beach tea, delightful.

There's a little tea shop (well, at least there's enough tea there to call it a tea shop) that you should check out in Twain Harte! ;-)
