the parsonage

"You'll see my car, parked on the street, next to a very nondescript driveway"

You walk through the double door after a jaunt up the driveway and over the porch that is home to various potted plants. Once inside the hardwood floors creek under your weight and the room opens up to high ceilings, a piano and bookshelves everywhere. To the left is a blue and white kitchen, complete with bay windows, tile and tea. Farther back through the front room is another two or three bedrooms. Right now they are a bit of chaos as there are girls moving in and out. One thing is constant however, the bookshelves and books, mixed in with beds and other beautiful pieces of furniture. Christy is living in the back room, the one in which 3 out of four walls are made of windows, and she has a desk piled high with books. Its one of those old houses, with interesting nooks, sinks and cupboards. One that just feels like home when you are in it. One with a never ending amount of tea and coffee-

and pizza, and garlic bread, and cookies that have traveled from Oxford.
